CPABOOTCAMP.

The Accounting profession has long recognized the need to increase the number of Blacks in the profession--less than 1% of all CPAs are Black.

This initiative is committed to increasing the number of HBCU students in the accounting profession, through the development of an enhanced and extended CPA exam review and preparatory program designed to address some of the barriers to entry which include:

- Work/life balance (a compressed timeframe (2-3 months) adds undue stress)
- Financial constraints (Exam fees, preparatory materials, etc. are cost-prohibitive) - Attrition post exam failure (80% of HBCU students attrite)
